Self-Employed in the Netherlands: Tax Essentials

How to register, stay compliant, and reduce your taxes. A practical 90 minute webinar for freelancers and self-employed professionals in the Netherlands, with tax specialist Patricia Santa Cruz.

About this event

Registering as a freelancer in the Netherlands takes an afternoon. Understanding what you owe, and what you can deduct, takes a lot longer.

On Thursday 1 October, Eindhoven Entrepreneurs and Tax-In host a practical online session for freelancers and self-employed professionals who want to understand how to start and run a business here.

Patricia Santa Cruz, founder of Tax-In, walks through the key steps to register as a freelancer, how to choose the legal form that suits you, and how to complete your registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK).

She then covers your main tax obligations, including income tax, VAT, recordkeeping and the deadlines that matter, followed by the business expenses you can deduct and the tax deductions available to entrepreneurs.

The aim is simple: clear, practical guidance you can act on, and fewer costly mistakes.
